ClubConnect is a private member-engagement platform used by private country clubs. Each subscribing club issues accounts to its members through the platform; members do not sign up publicly. Members opt in to receive transactional SMS messages from inside their account preferences (under Profile → Notifications) on their club's subdomain (for example <club>.club-connect.io/profile/notifications).
SMS is used solely for transactional messages tied to the member's activity on the platform — event reminders and invitations, waitlist offers, member connection requests, welcome messages, and one-time verification codes. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS.
The disclosure below renders immediately adjacent to the SMS opt-in checkbox on the notifications-preferences screen. The member must check the box (which records consent with the date, time, and IP address) and then verify their mobile phone via a one-time code before any SMS is sent.

Step 2: After the member checks the box and enters a phone number in E.164 format, the Send code button becomes active. A 6-digit code is sent to the entered number; the member confirms it to complete verification.

The platform sends only the following transactional SMS templates. Each message is prefixed with the club name in brackets so the sender is unambiguous.
Approximately 2–6 messages per member per month, depending on member activity (events RSVP'd, waitlist position, incoming connection requests). Frequency is driven entirely by what the member is signed up for; we do not send unsolicited messages.
